Return To Fright

Well, so much for investigating the Downing Memo, or the statements of a member of Parliament who turned the tables on a senate committee and put the entire US establishment on trial for arming Saddam, imposing genocidal sanctions which killed a million Iraqis, and then prosecuted two illegal wars which killed and maimed hundreds of thousands more.

Few know that the Israeli Finance Minister was warned by Scotland Yard of the impending attacks and fewer still, knew that once again, a massive exercise had already been ordered prior to the multiple bombings that then dominated the news for weeks.

On a BBC Radio 5 interview that aired on the evening of the 7th, the host interviewed Peter Power; Managing Director of Visor Consultants, which bills itself as a 'crisis management' advice company

Peter Power was a former Scotland Yard official, working at one time with the Anti Terrorist Branch. Power told the host that at the exact same time that the London bombings were taking place, his company was running a 1,000 person strong exercise which drilled the London Underground being bombed at the exact same locations, at the exact same times, as happened in real life.

"Men and women, the airport is being searched for a dangerous fugitive, and it is now surrounded. No one can enter and no one can leave. The search will, however, be conducted with great speed and no ships will reach or leave berth during the interval, so you will not miss your ship. The grid will descend. None of you will move outside your square until the grid is removed, as otherwise we will be forced to use our neuronic whips."
