"She could tell that she had disappointed him, that she'd once again turned out to be less than he needed her to be. But it was all she could do - she couldn't be better or braver than she was - and she could see him thinking this, too, resigning himself to her failure." THE RUINS / Scott Smith
LOVE LOST "It's a Man's World, but what would it be without Woman?"
Odysseus told the Cyclops intent on eating him that his name was NOMAN. Maybe he should have chosen a different name. When Polyphemus went crying to Daddy over his lost eye, Poseidon; upon hearing that no man was responsible, wisely proclaimed the deed the work of the Gods. Maybe the punishment of a mere mortal smarter than he should have been is still going on.
Maybe not.
When it's a Woman's world though, will you miss us when we're gone?
HOME (Not Found) I dreamed, of Home I dreamed, of home I dreamed, of you there I dreamed, of marble halls I dreamed, it all
I saw, or so it seemed My course, my way through I knew, what Gods know Yet woke, alone
To days, without you To HOURS, without you If life's, without you I'll dream... Again
